Born in 1988 in Havana City, with a colorful past between the passions of a teenager and the reality of growing up in communist Cuba, with painting and photography always running in the background, I learnt the art of classical music and the piano in the Conservatorium Alejandro Garcia Caturla in Habana City, moved then to E.N.A. and finally graduated from the Conservatorium Amadeo Roldán in classical piano, while continuing experimenting with electronics and film cameras.
Holding an entire world of unrealistic dreams to archive in a modern society and with no knowledge of how life worked out of Cuba, in capitalism. I managed to make my way through, sometimes with my talents, or cunningly utilizing the short supplies of resources available, I built a career that was completely unexpected. Like many others, I lost countless battles to inexperience, yet thankfully we get older every second and hopefully become wiser than the past minute.
To me personally, every project is a challenge, whether is composing, arranging music, production, photography, playing on a recording. Why, you might ask?
Here is the thing; if i challenge myself to give it an extra hundred percent, the outcome would be such that even i couldn’t imagine. Resolving itself into a proudly finished work.
But are we ever completely done with it? I don't think so. Who knows…
